It has been brought to our attention that some previous and current exhibitors have been approached by organisations claiming to sell Visitor or Lead contacts for our Career Expos requesting data and or money for misleading directory or events services.
These companies are NOT affiliated with us and we are doing everything we can to ensure that this activity stops. This is, unfortunately, quite a common scam within the exhibition industry where events have an exhibitor list with a company name on its website.
Please note that we DO NOT sell the list of Attendees or Exhibitors to anyone. If you receive an email claiming they have our Attendee list, they are attempting to scam you and we recommend blocking them.
As we do not have a pre-event visitor registration process or leads selling process, leading up to or after our events, a visitor or leads database to “SELL” as such does not exist – hence any claims by these companies to be able to provide this information is totally fraudulent.
Although the contact you have received may appear to be legitimate, we would encourage you to be aware and exercise caution when parting with any funds to overseas organisations or any other organisations for that matter, that we do not have any alliance with, claiming they have this current information.
