About the Event

The Sunshine Coast Daily Careers Expo is an annual event and now in its 8th year. The event features around 90 organisations.

At the expo you can meet with -

• Universities from around Queensland and interstate
• Private Education Training Colleges
• National and Local Employers
• Defence Forces
• Government Training, Agencies and Employers
• Apprenticeship and Traineeship providers
• Students Services and more!

For the second time in 2010, career seekers on the Sunshine Coast  will recieve a major boost when the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland (CCIQ) Job Shop is staged in conjunction with the annual Sunshine Coast Daily Careers Expo. In 2009, more than 400 live jobs were on offer at the event. The Job Shop was a great success! Details for the next CCIQ Job Shop will be available in early 2010.

With the State Government identifying skills shortages in a number of key industry areas, there is an opportunity to consider a job and career in one of the various careers pathways on offer at the expo. There are opportunities to undertake an apprenticeship or traineeship and the expo will showcase ways in which visitors can undertake these programs or as adults training or retraining in the workplace.
