WSA’s Try’aTrade program encourage participants to appreciate that skill education and training offer more choices for the future
Please stay tuned for updates on the 2012 WorldSkills Australia Try'a Trade.
Again in 2011, career seekers on the Sunshine Coast received a major boost when the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland
(CCIQ) Job Shop is staged in conjunction with the annual Sunshine Coast
Daily Careers Expo. Details on the 2012 CCIQ Job Shop will be available in early 2012.
With the State Government identifying skills shortages in a number of key industry areas, there is an opportunity to consider a job and career in one of the various careers pathways on offer at the expo. There are opportunities to undertake an apprenticeship or traineeship and the expo will showcase ways in which visitors can undertake these programs or as adults training or retraining in the workplace.
