A - Many Grade 10 students attend the event and do so each senior year until they graduate from high school. It is very beneficial in Grade 10 to get information about the different career pathways and studies on offer. If you have to choose your subjects in years 11 and 12, it is better to know which ones to choose at the end of Year 10 then find out in Grade 12 that you have selected the wrong subject for the career or study path that you wish to pursue!

A - Definitely! The Sunshine Coast Daily Careers Expo offers a wide range of options such as: short courses, part-time or full time study modes from certificate level up to diploma etc. There will also be a range of employers (including government agencies) who may have apprenticeship or trainee positions available during the event.

A - Many of the public QLD and interstate Universities will have representatives at the event to assist with post graduate inquiries. In addition, each year, an increasing number of employers and government agencies are taking part with graduate positions on offer through the Job Shop.

A - Yes, definitely! There will be many representatives who can assist you with alternate entry pathways or mature age student enquiries. More and more mature age students have been attending each year.

A - Yes, we have many parents attending the event each year who find it extremely helpful. There are many exhibitors who can assist with questions regarding study costs, accommodation options and explain how enrolment procedures work. You may be able to guide your child through the "maze" of available career and study options and at the same time get answers to questions you have.

A - Download the entry form from the ‘Competition’ tab of the website. Complete the form and bring it to the event with you. Place in one of the marked barrels during the event.
