Confused about your career pathway or study options? Don't know where to start? We can not make the decision for you, but we have developed some tools that could assist you with making those big decisions.

Attending TSCEA is a great way to get information on a wide variety of study, career and employment options. You can talk to representatives and ask those important questions. You may also meet some students currently undertaking courses you are intersted in and ask them what it is really like!

A wide range of seminars will be presented during the event. Topics range from information on new courses in 2011 and beyond, how to apply for university and a whole lot more. Make sure you check the seminar program and attend those of interst to you.

We have developed the student worksheet to help you get started. The questions in the worksheet will give you a good idea about the type of questions you should be asking at the expo. Download the worksheet and complete a sheet for each study or career option you wish to pursue. 

Steps to Success

Before visiting the event -

  • Download the student worksheet, and complete a sheet for each career option you are interested in.
  • Download the bursary application and complete this. Take this application with you to the event and place it in the barrel. If your application is the winning one, you can start your study pathway with a $2,000 head start!!
  • Check exhibitor listing and circle the exhibitors you definitely want to have a chat to.
  • Make sure you check out the seminar program and circle the ones that are of interest to you.

At the event -

  • Go around and check out the different exhibitors and get all the information you need to make those important decisions!
  • Place your bursary application in the barrel
  • Attend the seminar sessions
  • Place your completed laptop entry form in the barrel

After the event -

  • Read all the information you have collected
  • Visit open days for institutions and courses you have short listed
  • If  you have any further questions on courses, careers or study options, contact the relevant institution or organisation to have your questions answered or contact us and we may be able to direct you in the right direction.
